martin was talented guy. charismatic, charming, out-going. vivacious and full of life, in a gloomy town of burnouts and evangelical
opportunists. He was everything I wasn't at the time...a slouchy teen, jealous that my mom took him under her wing in attempt to reform
him.

This project is a tribute to that reformation-not the one he received at the time, conforming and being chastised. It's the undoing
and rewiring of customs and traditions I hope martin eventually discovered (or discovering) in the course of his life. Wearing your
colors proudly, defiantly standing up in your reality, finding beauty in your imperfections and dancing away your trauma.
